The New Sound!

Our head editor for the sound, Elyse Miyake, has graduated and handed down her Newspaper powers to Hadley Olson who is going to be editing the yearbook, while juggling the sound articles too.

Elyse Miyake-

What was your favorite part of working on The Sound?
“I liked working with a lot of people to see how the website would get, it felt good having a lot of people helping me to make the website, and divide the workload.”

What are your thoughts on having a new editor for The Sound?
“I have a lot of faith in Hadley and I know she can make the website greater than it already is.”

Hadley Olson-

What changes to the site and articles will you be making?
“I will be changing the way things are graded, also trying to get more effective topics that will benefit my peers in a positive way.”
How will you be balancing yearbook and the sound at the same time?
“I plan on having specific days where I will be reading and editing articles, therefore keeping a healthy balance.”
Will you be missing Elyse?
“I will be missing Elyse; she was a positive influence on my learning.”

How will the sound be different without Elyse?
“A bright future now that I am in charge.”
How is the design for The Sound different?
“It is interesting, all the tools in the program we had to redesign the 1.0 model to make it a greater new reading experience.”
