The brand new iPhone 8 was released on September 12, 2017. This new device has had the world excited to see what enhanced technology has to offer. This is Apple’s “10- Year Anniversary Edition” of the iPhone, and so they are hoping that it is better than ever. From facial recognition to fingerprint scanning, the iPhone 8 has it all. The display itself is said to be a flexible plastic OLED instead of a LCD screen. The Iphone 8 has a new 10-nanometer A11 chip that will make it much faster and more efficient. The iPhone 8 will wirelessly charge, as electricity doesn’t pass straight through metal nearly as well. There is better software, and a bigger screen but smaller glass. Although these are great new features the new iPhone 8 can cost a whopping $1000, U.S. The good news is it’s cheaper than some analysts have been predicting, but at $999, that would still make it 54% more than the iPhone 7. So the choice is left for the consumers to make. Are the new technological enhancements worth the price?
