This book takes you to another world while reading it. You get engrossed and can’t put down. It has mystery, heart ache, science, and so much more. Where the Crawdads Sing,  transports you to the world Kya lives in with imagery and diction with the accents and ways of speaking. I highly recommend this novel, I loved it so much. It showed so much emotion. I would read it 1,000 times again. I couldn’t put it down. The beginning is slow but once you get past that, it is impossible to put down.
