Going to Mexico

I went to Mexico for the holidays. It was such a good experience for me to go to a small city in Michoacan since I hadn’t gone in 2-3 years. It was surprising how much that small city my mom grew up in changed, the houses were so much older and faded. The smell of street tacos and the smell of the dirt brought so many memories from when I was little, my best memories were lived in Mexico. In addition, there are so many things to do in Mexico like visit the Plaza which is basically like downtown here in Gig Harbor. You can get ice cream there, crepes, homemade street Mexican tacos, frappuccinos, and this really good “Sandia Loca”, which is a crazy watermelon in English, a Mexican street food is a sweet-salty-sour and spicy fruit salad to the extreme. It contains sour and sweet Mexican candies, hot sauce, different kinds of nuts, different types of fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, mango, etc… it’s really good with all the flavors it has. The best part of Mexico is going to the fairs in December, bull riding, and walking through the posadas which is where you celebrate Christmas for two weeks straight with parties and singing. It’s a very cool experience. I loved seeing my friends and going to cool places and bull riding too. I will miss Mexico and am hoping to go this summer for more parties and fun times.
