Girls Cross Country runners at the Tide Mile.

One chilly October 28th, cross country runners gathered together to run a mile around the track. However, they weren’t adorned with the usual matching sporty tanks and shorts spectators were used to seeing them in. Robes. Masks. Wigs. Balloons. Tutus. Even a horse head. The cross country runners were in spectacular and comical outfits for the annual cross country event called the Tide Mile. This fun race was the beginning to an end of the season as the championship meets started.

The JV season ended October 22nd. Some varsity cross country runners participated in the State competition on November 8th. They will also run at Nike Regional’s on November 15th in hope of qualifying for the National meet on November 23rd.
