A New Year Equals New Beginnings

As the year of 2014 comes to a close, we scramble to find solutions to the resolutions we set out to solve at the beginning of 2014. Don’t let that be you, at the YMCA trying to lose those last few pounds, or working late at the office trying to satisfy your hopeless goal. For 2015, you want to make a commitment that will last the whole year.
It only takes a routine. Whatever you desire to get better at, or study more for, your resolution should be more of a daily routine than a wish upon a star. Aim to reach your goal in small steps. As you probably are not used to doing what you plan to do for your resolution, start by doing it maybe once a week, then twice, then thrice. Sooner or later you’ll be so used to doing this goal-oriented practice that you’ll be like a robot.
And this goal that you are setting should be attainable, but not the type of goal that you’ll achieve in a month. This is an annual process, my friend. You must be able to change. For instance, if you aimed to lose weight, you would not be changing just your physical routine, but your eating habits and your diet. It’s all about managing you.
This 2015 set a goal that in your mind you can confidently say you can reach, and then take the steps to create that routine. It’s all about that repetition. Set those goals and make me proud!
