The Pug: The pug has an even temper, has an outgoing, loving disposition and is very playful. This Asian dog  originated from before 400 B.C.! The Newfoundland: The Newfoundland is large to giant in size, but sweet in personalty. This dog can be anywhere from 100-150 pounds! They have a short coat, are suitable for children, need daily exercise and are low energy. Newfoundlands can swim in water, have lifesaving instincts and its thick fur protect it for the cold water. This dog is intelligent and friendly, is easy to train and is perfect for families with kids.
