Instead of recycling that old drink container, why not use it to fix an everyday problem? Picture this. You are going to a family picnic and bringing condiments, salt, pepper, napkins and silverware. Shoving them all into a bag doesn’t work because the salt and pepper keep spilling. What are you to do? You can’t possibly carry it all. Suddenly, you see the old drink container in the overflowing recycling bin and grab it on your way out the door. The container holds everything in place and you are free to talk to the relatives.

Have you ever wondered how to perfectly store your ear buds without them looking like a ball of yarn that a cat played with? Worry no more. A cassette case can perfectly store your ear buds and make a fashion statement! Using tape, stickers and other decorative items, you can jazz up that old case. Using that bag of Lifesavers that you got one day at a grocery store, you put one on each cupcake (or at least the one that you will put the candle in) and wait for the guests to come. This tasty treat can improve the flavor and the look of the cupcake, along with making the candle more stable!

Do all of your bags seem to either pile up or disappear? If so, this next idea is perfect for you! Take an old tissue box and fold your bags neatly into it. You can decorate this box and put it in a place that you will remember. A good place to have bags is in your car or in your room!

How many times have you been away from home and don’t know how to pack your shoes for the ride back? Many people would say often. Use that free shower cap that hotels provide, for a fun new way to protect your clothes from your shoes.

Your favorite dress keeps sliding off the hanger and into a crumpled pile on the floor! This next tip is one for people of all ages. We always have that shirt or shirts that will not stay and it can go from a minor issue to a major problem. Take some old rubber bands and give them a new purpose. Wrap the bands on either side of the hanger and enjoy!

Doesn’t everyone want the perfect pancake? Usually you have to scoop out spoonfuls of mix onto the hot griddle. Trying to get the pancakes a perfect shape-while trying not to spill-is tough. There must be an easier way, right? Yes, there is. Take that old ketchup bottle, rinse it out, make the batter and pour it into the bottle. Then, just simply squeeze the bottle onto the griddle and wait. Store the batter in the fridge after use. This also works well with cupcake batter.

Crash! Have you ever had those little relatives drop a glass because it is too slippery? If so, there is a way to stay worry free when giving them a glass. Place 3-10 rubber bands around the glass and watch all your worried fade away.

Where are the tweezers? Splinters can go from painful to just plain annoying! Being able to find tweezers is key to feeling better. Without tweezers, you would be unable to remove most splinters. Place a magnet on a commonly used, covenant place. The magnet will hold your tweezers, so you always know where they are!
