Fall Events around the Sound

As the fall season sets in and the leaves start changing colors, there are exciting new opportunities and events for our student body to participate in. Haunted Houses, Pumpkin Patches and Halloween in October as well as Thanksgiving, Playoff Football, and Black Friday coming in November. I caught up with a few students and asked them what they are most excited for.

Q: What are you most excited for heading into Fall?

A: “I’m excited to keep playing Soccer and getting deeper into our our RCL season, we are also going to Vegas over Thanksgiving break which I cannot wait for, although it’s going to be weird not being around my family for Thanksgiving break.”

Q: What school related event are you most excited for?

A: “Definitely the Playoff football games, we have such a deep and talented team who are a ton of fun to watch. It’s gonna be great to support them and see how far they can go.”

Q: What are you most excited for heading into fall?

A: “More football and the cold crisp mornings, ski season is coming up as well.”

Q: What school related event are you most excited for?

A: “Playoff Girls soccer games, can’t wait to see how far they will go!

Although the dates of upcoming playoff football and soccer games depend on how far each team will go, the Lady Tides will play on Saturday, November 7, for seeding in districts against Puyallup, while Football will face Skyline next week. Meanwhile, Cross Country has the Washington State Championship on Saturday, November 7 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. Good luck to all of our fall sports teams!
