Boy’s Wrestling
The GHHS wrestling team was very successful in representing the school this season. They ended their season with a 1-7 overall record and two state placers.
“You have to defeat some of the states best wrestlers just to stand on that podium.” Says wrestler Joe Washington.
The team MVP John Law is thought of as the most ambitious and a natural leader by his team mates.
Zayne Ball who ended his season with a 22-5 record as a sophomore is an up and coming wrestler that we are expecting to see a lot from in the next two years.
Gig Harbors hardest competition this year was against Central Kitsap High School, they left with only one winning match.
