Halloween

Halloween

October 31, otherwise known as Halloween, is one of the most popular and celebrated holidays. Some people refer to this time of year as the spooky season and really enjoy the scry decorations that go along with it. Another spooky party of this time of year is the haunted houses, which are very popular among those who are brave enough. Why do people enjoy this time of year so much? There are several reasons. People enjoy dressing up as their favorite character from a TV show, movie, or whatever strikes their interest, trick-or-treating, free candy, and decorating. You may also have some traditions. Maybe you crave pumpkins or decorating is all you look forward to. Maybe you go somewhere or coordinate your costumes. Whatever it may be! Here are what some students enjoy most about this scary holiday! Morgan Kelly, a Freshman at GHHS, says that her favorite part about Halloween this year was “I loved seeing my friends, roasting s’mores and eating too much candy.” I think we can all agree with that! Kaitlynn Weaver, also a Freshman at GHHS, says “I love the costumes, the fact that it’s a scary holiday and the decorations.” What is your family tradition?
