With the 49ers being one of the most stacked teams in the league, and the notorious Chiefs being back once again, has brought about a narrative that isn’t so positive.
With Patrick Mahomes returning once again to the final game, and the resume that he is building as an overall player, it appears as though he is becoming someone who will continuously make a playoff run every year no matter the team he has. People counted out the Chiefs from early on in the year, and they have proved to be the underdogs all year long, despite the problems they’ve had with receivers dropping passes. Mahomes looks like he will be the top quarterback in the league for many years to come, which has been what’s made him his new identity as the potential “villain” of the league. With the displeasure of Mahomes from fans around the league, there has been disappointment about the fact that he is still in the playoffs. His main target Travis Kelce has been someone that has been known to have an arrogant personality, has been alongside Mahomes for every winning stretch the Chiefs have been on. Some of his own personal drama has been with Taylor Swift as he started dating her during the regular season which has drawn nationwide attention. This has been something NFL fans around the league have been furious about the amount of attention this has received. Swift has been shown televised during Chiefs games all year long which has irritated many fans. With Swift now being in the NFL world, her fans called “swifties’ ‘ have been tagged along for the ride with Kansas City this year. It is miraculous how all this happened during the year, but the Chiefs were still able to find themselves playing for another ring.
Mr. Irrelevant has brought his team past the NFC Championship game this year and into the Super Bowl. Brock Purdy has received a lot of hate all year long with his team because of the amount of star power and weapons he has surrounding him. He has even been in the MVP conversation throughout the year based on the stats he has had this season, which has also brought up some controversy. The story of the Niners offense being run by Mike Shanahan has also caused some fans to think that Shanahan is the reason thai offense is able to thrive even with a quarterback that isn’t quite elite. The coaching mastermind that the Niners have has allowed them to succeed this year and the last few years. It will be a massive test for the Niners in this matchup as the Chiefs have several players who have been in this situation before which will be a major factor as the game progresses. With some of the Niners players wanting revenge from the 2020 Super Bowl, they will be out for blood as they try to bring home the Lombardi after their second time in the big game. It will be a revenge game for San Francisco as they take on Kansas City in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Neutral fan Cooper Mccutcheon (12) said, “I want the 49ers to win because I dislike the Niners less than the Chiefs.” With this in mind, there are several fans who couldn’t really care less about the outcome, but they don’t want to see Patrick Mahomes continue to succeed. Parker Bare (11) also had a prediction on what he thinks will happen in the game and he said, “The Niners will win 42-35 because of Anna Frey.”
It should be an exciting game that takes place between these franchises, there will be lots of big plays and defining playmakers, but we will have to see if Brock Purdy will be able to compete at the same level as Patrick Mahomes. Purdy will be up against someone with a lot more experience at this stage, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. This game is full of star players and Pro Bowlers, so it shouldn’t disappoint in the slightest.
