The students of the month for the month of December are Kaitlyn McAllister (11) and Brandon Ridgeway (10) for their dedication to honoring the Tide Way.

McAllister was chosen for her dedication to her commitments and the time and effort she puts into helping those around her. Her performing arts teacher, Tia Weniger, stated, “Kaitlyn lives, leads, and exemplifies acting with integrity and being responsible. Kaitlyn self-motivates herself along with her peers. She independently learned all music to our winter show and taught the entire cast of Frozen every sung part over the past two weeks. She is selfless with her time and patience.”

Ridgeway was nominated for his excellence as a leader and example. His science teacher, Jon Yelsky, who said, “Brandon truly exemplifies living the Tide Way. He is kind, engaged, and responsible at all times. Brandon works hard in class and helps elevate those around him. He has great leadership skills and takes initiative academically, socially, and behaviorally.”
