KEALY- She went to GHHS and had a great experience so she applied to teach at her former High School.

ROLAND- She was looking for a change in her career and so decided to apply and got the job!

CURRAN-She was placed here because they needed her at Gig Harbor to be SLP. She has previously been an SLP at other schools but was transferred here!

LANDRAM- He was a former 8th-grade health teacher at Goodman Middle School and has taught every grade K-8 so when the job became available he decided to be the new PE coach!

FAIRCHILD- She had previously worked at Harbor Ridge Middle School one day a week, now she works a GH 2 days a week and PHS 2 days a week as a social worker.

CARLSON-She has always wanted to be a librarian for younger kids , and so when this job came open to being a library assistant she decided to take it!

SAMSEN- She lived in the Harbor since 2007 and started out as a teacher and then went back to school and got her masters. She worked at Purdy elementary as an intern then worked as a counselor at North Mason High. Later she applied for the counseling position at gig harbor and got it!

VOGEL- She has worked for the school district for 15 years as an Occupational Therapist and applied for the job here at gig harbor high!

HOW LONG IN CAREER

Kealy: Teaching for 2 years.

Roland: 12 years in career teaching.

Curran: Teaching for the first time at GHHS.

Landram: 14 years of teaching in his career.

Carlson: Substituted for 6 years in libraries. First year as the library assistant.

Fairchild: Has been a social worker for 30 years.

Samson: 3 years in the career and, 2 years in middle school teaching.

Vogel: Worked for the school district for 15 years.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN

Kealy likes to read a lot, and run, coaching, and cooking.

Curran likes to do crafts, boating, and traveling.

Roland likes to shop, read, and spend time with family and friends.

Carlson likes to read, and play with his dogs, and takes care of the family.

Fairchild likes to swim, and quilting

Landram likes to play sports , and spend time with family, golf, and basketball.

Samsen- spends time with her kids and camping

Vogel- she loves to do art
